By the end of the GradCircle Research Project, students will have developed a rigorous research mindset, sharpened their academic writing, and built a professional-grade paper showcasing their capability for independent inquiry—an invaluable asset in college applications and beyond.
Curriculum

Foundations of Academic Research
Understanding the research process (problem identification, hypothesis, methodology). Guidance on literature review, citation standards (MLA, APA, etc.), and academic integrity. -
Topic Selection & Proposal
Students select areas of interest with mentor support. Crafting a concise research proposal outlining objectives, potential methods, and key references. -
Methodology & Data Analysis
In-depth instruction on qualitative or quantitative techniques (e.g., surveys, interviews, statistical tests). Selecting the right tools or platforms for data gathering and analysis (e.g., Excel, Google Forms, SPSS). -
Writing & Structuring the Paper
Developing an abstract, introduction, analysis, and discussion sections. Iterative drafts with mentor feedback to improve clarity and academic rigor. -
Feedback & Final Submission
Students revise and polish their final document with line-by-line edits from mentors.
